I love living the internet lifestyle. Sometimes though I get a little caught up in working and forget to savor the moment. During the past 30 months I have visited countries in Asia, South America and Central America. I have rocked it out, prospered online and yep, I have lived the laptop lifestyle.
I sell a dream. Really, today I wrote a handful of blog posts and connected with a ton of folks, but more than anything, as I create, and make friends, I sell a dream. You want to travel the world, or quit your job, or you want to get axed, and YOU want to be in these travel pictures…or you want to spend time with your family, or start your business part time.
Honest to goodness you can do ANY of these things but you must know why. Fall in love with the dream. Become inspired through my pictures. I am living a dream and I want you here with me.
So, without further delay….let me share a few of my favorite travel pictures.
Sunset at Promthep Cape, Phuket
I snapped this image around the block from P Cape…OK? Not in the exact spot but it was close I drove to this spot on my motorbike on fair weather nights and took so many pictures, I cannot begin to explain….stunning, stunning spot, one of the best in the world to catch a picturesque sunset.
My Fat Neighbor in Nueva Arenal, Costa Rica
This rude, fat neighbor of mine always stopped by uninvited. I remember our first encounter. Silent neighborhood, and I hear crunching in the backyard. I thought intruder; opening my back door, I see our friend. Of course I loved her. LOL to my headline she was adorable!
Petting 400 Pound Tiger Mae Rim, Thailand
This one should lead. Crazy. They actually let you into the cage to pet an almost fully grown tiger. Craziest day of my life. I was terrified, but had to do it after the Thai guys laughed at me. This tiger named Ron was a mush, really. What a beast though. And the waiver Kelli and I signed was like as thick as a Bible!
Bad Ass in Kathmandu, Nepal
The dust situation is nuts in KTM. So much so you need to walk around with glasses and a mask if you want to avoid hacking up your lungs every hour of the day. Yeah, that was me looking like the Cobra Commander in Thamel, Kathmandu.
Andes Mountains Cusco, Peru
This one had some wires and a wall in it but no picture I took in Cusco better represented the crispness of the blue skies and the dramatic, towering Andes Mountains than this shot. Stunning, the only area I visited which rivaled the beauty, mountains and clean skies was Monteverde, Costa Rica. Stunning, stunning, stunning. Only drawback in Cusco was puking my guts out for 2 days with some wicked food poisoning lol!
Backyard in Lodtunduh, Bali
I mean, are you kidding me? THIS was our backyard. We had our own private villa, housekeeping and landscaping service and the only people you saw after 6 PM each night until 7 AM the next day were…well…nobody. Plenty of snakes and lizards and bugs though, which was really neat. Open air bathroom. Yes, we needed to walk around with flashnights at night to keep an eye out for scorpions, centipedes, or venomous snakes. Wild place, definitely the most authentic place we have lived during our travels.
