Personal Development - Do You Operate On A Creative Plane Of Thought?

“God favors those who work on a creative plane of thought.” ~ Ryan Biddulph

Creative thinking is acting in harmony with universal forces. When working with the universe all things are possible. All knowledge that there is, was, or ever will be is at your disposal. Here’s how to find out if you’re operating on a creative plane of thought.

Inspiration Or Desparation?

Inspired action is creative action. Desperate action is competitive in nature. Most are aware of when they’re inspired. Everything feels right. Work flows. No hassles, no headaches. Obstacles are seen as opportunities. Inspiration is where creative thought begins.

Do You Feel The Need To Compete?

The only competition is your own ignorance. Really. You are not “going against” anybody. How can anyone stop you from creating? Who can stop your thinking? Competition is an idea which has been programmed into your mind. You weren’t born with this idea; you acquired it. Other people can’t beat you to whatever it is that you want because nobody can take your thoughts from you. All thought is inherently creative. Thought only becomes destructive when you act with the idea of competition in mind.

Do You Rely On An Invisible Means Of Supply?

Everything visible springs from the Invisible. The universe signs your paychecks. Don’t make the error of relying on your job for stability. It’s an outside condition, and outside conditions can change in an instant. If your faith is in your employer what happens when they let you go? Your faith disappears with your job and fear takes its place. Most people have no invisible means of supply. That’s the reason for mass anxiety when the economy is floundering.

Rely on an invisible means of supply. It is your Source. All things visible spring from the Invisible.

Do You Set Aside Time For Letting Go?

Spend at least an hour a day letting go. Shut off the phone. Turn off the TV. Sit in a quiet room. Go for a hike in the woods. Your objective is to release all thoughts. No planning, no deciding, no thinking. Just let it all go.

The human ego feels the need to constantly feed. Most are information junkies. These junkies tend to fill their mind with anything, just so it’s filled. Junkies collect junk. The ego may feel satiated, but what has it feasted on? Life-changing ideas? Not in most cases. Most of this knowledge is acquired just to make the world safe for the ego. To build up its walls. Letting go clears the mind of clutter. When empty the mind is open to the universe. Source teaches you all that there is to know. Inspirational ideas can reach you in an instant when your mind is open. Let go. Grow.

  • You'd love to hear that the new idea that is coming forth as an offer to you is so much like what you explained above so beautifully. It's like the only reason we are here is to experience that new idea that has not come into fruition.
  • You are correct sir :)
  • I like competition in positive way. Competition make us feel so alive right???
  • I'll just add to it. We are all individuals and our perspective is unique to us. If all is unique, how can there be a competition? We all are unique and divine expression of God. :D
  • Well said buddy!
  • I can see where you're coming from Bill.

A little competition may be OK, but few can stop at 'a little.' They become obsessed with what the other guy's doing, and often forfeit their own creativity in favor of doing what the competition is doing. Of course, to keep up with "the competition."

This line of thinking uses others as a measuring stick for your success, which is the curse of curses.

If it feels fun and healthy, it's OK to have some competition. Do most people have fun when competing though? In my experience it's a resounding No.
